General Information about the house and surrounding area
Background:
The house is situated within typical French countryside, 45 minutes drive east of Angouleme and 60 minutes drive of Limoges. The west coast of France (Royan) and the sea is a two hour drive but well worth it. If that doesn’t work then there are several lakes within a 30 minute drive of the house with beaches, playgrounds and a variety of water activities in summer.
The area is popular with the British and Dutch but whoever the properties are owned by, you will see how beautifully they are maintained and presented, even La Veda!!

Farmhouse details to help you enjoy your stay
Services:
Electricity – the fuse boxes are located in the utility room, however you should not have to make any adjustments to the settings etc. Should there be a problem please contact the Property Manager. Our electrical support lives in Roussines, just down the road.
Water – the main stop tap is located under the sink in the utility room, should there be a leak then please switch off the supply and call the Property Manager.
Butane Gas – is only used for the gas hob. Should the supply run out whilst you are there you will find a replacement container in the far barn. The containers are standard fixings and are easily changed over, the screw connection is counter clockwise. Please advise the Property Manager that this has been changed so a replacement container can be organised.
